Just a tiny person, lifting big!
I got into fitness whilst at University, after putting on a lot of weight in my First Year – living off pizza and booze will do that to you! – and started off by running a few times a week.
When I settled into a new place a couple of years later, I joined a gym in the area that had a lot of equipment towards power-lifting, and have been addicted ever since.
I qualified as a Personal Trainer in January 2016 and have since gone on to work with many clients as well as continue to learn and improve my own training too.
I’m also a strong believer in that good fitness can help with good mental well-being, having suffered with Depression and Anxiety all my life I find that working out really helps to keep this under control, and have seen the effect it has on others too.
